Sunila Gollapudi is a seasoned technologist and knowledge scientist with extensive leadership experience in large IT firms. Over the past 23 years, she has spearheaded Digital Transformation, Innovation, and Product & Platform Engineering initiatives. Currently, she works at Google, leading Enterprise Data Engineering and Applied AI/ML teams in Hyderabad, solving data-centric and business-critical challenges.An accomplished author, Sunila has published several books, articles, and papers with renowned publishers and conferences on Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Connected Data. She also serves as a Visiting Faculty at ISB, where she teaches Advanced AI and Data Engineering and mentors capstone projects.

Beyond technology,

Sunila holds a Master’s in Performing Arts in Indian classical dance. She has been practicing, choreographing, and teaching the 2,000-year-old temple dance form Andhra Natyam. Actively working towards the revival of rare choreographies, she collaborates with her dance fraternity to preserve traditions once upheld by Devadasis.As a Visual Artist, she specializes in acrylic and watercolor paintings and is trained in Shilpashastra, focusing on celestial deities and Hindu temple architecture. She is also a PhilanthropArtist, serving as Managing Director and Trustee of Samanvay Space, a platform dedicated to preserving Indian arts and literature globally. Additionally, she founded Nartanasala and Havishhaa, two non-profits committed to reviving and promoting performing and visual arts in India.With her deep expertise in Advanced Generative AI and Indian classical dance, Sunila recognizes AI’s potential in preserving and innovating classical dance traditions. She is currently pursuing doctoral research on Generative AI adoption in Indian Classical Dance.
